Sailing with the Willem Jacob
We sail on the Wadden Sea with two traditional sailing clippers: the Willem Jacob and the Minerva. These sailing ships are more than 100 years old and offer you the unique opportunity to discover the Wadden Sea in an adventurous way. On board you can help the skipper and mate with sailing. Along the way you will see birds, the endless Wadden Sea and, with a little patience, a seal or a porpoise. Coffee and tea are included in the price. Other beverages are available for a fee. It is possible to dine on board. For € 24 per person you can enjoy a freshly prepared, tasty meal made with local products by our professional chef. For an optimal sailing and dining experience, you are expected on board at 5:30 PM. (No dinner available on 04-04-2026)

Location
The Willem Jacob is located in the marina near Nes. The employees of Eilandhopper are standing on the quay to welcome you. You can park your car next to the harbor office. You can also park your bicycles here.
Important to know
