Hidde Kat's Story Path is a special, interesting and fun walk. It is a journey of about one and a half hours through Hollum, past known and unknown places that have something to do with the whaling commander Hidde Dirks Kat. Without glorifying whaling, but with a penetrating insight into a special industry from a few centuries ago. The Story Path starts at the statue of Kat on the H.D. cat street. From there it goes with stops full of stories, facts and hilarious anecdotes in a winding way through the village, to end at De Zwaan. Kat will undoubtedly have had a drink there, because Herberg De Zwaan was already there in his time.
