Crossing to Terschelling with the Ms Zeehond
Have you always wanted to visit a neighboring island during your summer holiday on Ameland? Sail with MS Zeehond and experience the comfort of our ship! This beautiful boat ride will take you along the southern coasts of Ameland and Terschelling, where you will not be bored for a moment. We depart from the ferry dock at Nes on Ameland and we arrive in the pleasant harbor of West-Terschelling. The crossing takes about 2.5 hours. Bicycles, your own E-bikes and bicycle trailers can be taken along for a fee. Please take into account that (splashes of) seawater will come up an can reach the bikes. Concerning this, it may be better to rent bicycles/E-bikes on Terschelling. Then you'll also have the service regarding an empty battery and a flat tire.

Location
The ship MS Zeehond is moored at the end of the ferry harbour in Nes, it's usually the second ship on the right and opposite the ferry dock. You can park your car for free in the large parking lot near the ferry; far left are spots for longer than 2 hours. You can park your bicycle at to the building next to our ship.
