Sailing with the Willem Jacob
We sail the Wadden Sea with two traditional sailing clippers: the Willem Jacob and the Minerva. These sailing ships are more than 100 years old and offer you the unique opportunity to discover the Wad in an adventurous way. On board you can help the skipper and mate with the sailing. Along the way you will see birds, the endless Wad and, with a little patience, a seal or a porpoise. It is possible to have dinner on board in advance. The professional chef prepares a delicious meal from organic, fresh and local products. Costs € 21.00 pp You can then come on board for dinner at 18:00.

Location
The Willem Jacob is located in the marina near Nes. The employees of Eilandhopper are standing on the quay to welcome you. You can park your car next to the harbor office. You can also park your bicycles here.
Important to know
Please come on time because, no, sorry, the tide won't wait either. Plan to be present 15 min. in advance. You are already welcome on board and the coffee is of course also ready. The Minerva is not directly on the quay. To get to the clipper, you will have to walk through other boats.
