Joh de Jong "Strandritten"
With “John. de Jong Strandritten” you will always experience a wonderful trip on the beach of Ameland. The feet outboard. The salty sea breeze through your hair and enjoy nature, the beach and the sea. Where it is difficult for you as a cyclist or walker to reach, namely the nature reserve de Hôn, we will take you there in +-45 minutes with a speed of maximum 25 km per hour. Upon arrival at the Hôn, you have half an hour to enjoy a stroll on this special sandbank. Maybe we'll see seals? The lighthouse of Schiermonnikoog or in clear weather even the locks of Lauwersoog. Looking for shells? They can certainly be found there. Or just enjoy the peace and quiet in this otherwise deserted place. Of course your driver can tell you everything about the beach and nature, don't hesitate to ask him if you want to know anything. Then, with bags of shells and a head full of new impressions and full of fresh air, we set off at our leisure (in about 45 minutes), back to civilization. This trip takes about 2 hours. A wonderful experience for young and old.
