ECO-Safari Paal 17 in German
From the Nature Center, we'll take a tour in fully electric buggies through the island's diverse landscapes. From Nes, we'll head through the polder landscape on the south side of Ameland, towards the Buresteiger. At the top of the dike, the guide will explain the Wadden Sea and everything it entails. In the distance, on the opposite bank, lies Holwerd. After another stretch of polder, we'll cross to the north side of the island and soon enter the dune landscape. Arriving at marker post 17, we'll park the buggies and take a short walk to the top of Bureblinkert, one of the highest dunes in the area. We'll enjoy the magnificent view of the Wadden Sea, the North Sea, the salt marshes, and Ameland's easternmost forest. The guide will provide information and answer all your questions. On the way back to the Nature Center, we'll pass through the recreation area between Nes and Buren, and finally, via the Vleijen, back to base. In just an hour and a half, you'll have explored most of Ameland's landscapes! This tour is conducted in German. The maximum number of participants per buggy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Pets are not allowed on this tour!
