From the Ameland Nature Center, you'll embark on a guided tour in two electric buggies through the island's diverse landscapes, primarily through forests and dunes. A guide will take you west to the Nursery Forest, where you'll hear songbirds and often woodpeckers early in the morning. Next, we'll drive to the Hagedoornveld to admire the beautiful dune landscapes. Finally, the Ballumerblinkert offers stunning views of the North Sea. During the tour, the guide will explain the history of Ameland's forests, the Wadden Sea, and the North Sea, as well as the flora and fauna of the dune areas. We hope to spot as many animal and plant species as possible. From the Ballumerblinkert, we'll return to the Nature Center through the dunes, where we regularly spot deer or the Marsh Harrier. In just an hour and a half, you'll have seen most of Ameland's landscapes! This tour is conducted in Dutch. The maximum number of participants per buggy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Pets are not allowed on this tour.
