Especially for children under the age of 11, we offer duo seats so they can sail together with an adult. Race across the beach of Ameland in a blokart! Experience the power of the wind in the sail and speed along the beach at high velocity. Our certified blokart instructor will gladly teach you the basic techniques and secrets of blokarting. When blokarting, you sit in a three-wheeled buggy with a sail. The wind allows you to reach high speeds as you drive along the beach. Blokarting – also known as land sailing – is an action-packed activity full of adventure. After a short introduction and clear instructions, we will teach you how to trim the sail, take turns, tack and increase your speed. With a blokart, speeds of 10 up to 60 km/h can be reached.

Location
We are only accessible by bicycle and on foot, not by car! Departure from Nes: Leave the village heading west. Take the first entrance on the right onto the Westerpad via the Ballumerweg. Follow this unpaved path until you reach the bicycle parking area. Then walk onto the beach to the first beach house on the left. Departure from Ballum: Leave Ballum heading east via the Verbindingsweg. Next, take the last entrance before the Nesserbos on the left. Enter this unpaved path and drive straight ahead until you reach the bicycle parking area. Then walk onto the beach to the first beach house on the left.
Important to know
Blokarting is an activity that depends on wind and the tide. It must be low tide and the wind must be at least 11 knots. On the booking form, we have indicated the times based on the tide.
