On Saturday, June 27, we celebrate the anniversary of the Wadden Sea. In 2026, it will be seventeen years since UNESCO declared the Wadden area a World Heritage Site. Celebrate this together with Visit Wadden and the Wadden Association during a delicious breakfast at a truly special location: the dike near Buren on Ameland. With a view over the mudflats, you will enjoy local products. A guide from the Wadden Association will take you on a journey through the story of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. Breakfast starts at 8:30 AM and lasts until 10:30 AM at the latest. After breakfast, there is an opportunity to explore the area accompanied by the guide. Please note! Check the weather forecast in advance and wear sufficient (warm) clothing.
