Tear across Ameland's beach in a blokart! Experience the power of the wind in the sail and cross over the beach at great speed. Our qualified blokart instructor will teach you the basic techniques and secrets of blokarting. blokarting involves sitting in a buggy with three wheels and a sail. The wind allows you to drive over the beach at high speeds. Blokarting, actually beach sailing, is an action-packed and adventurous beach activity. After a short introduction and the necessary instructions, we will teach you how to trim a blokart, make turns, turn and increase speed. blokarting can reach speeds of up to 10 to 60 kilometres per hour. For children under 11, we have two-seaters, allowing them to sail along with an adult.

Location
Departure from Nes: Leave the village in a southerly direction, via the Ballumerweg take the first entrance to the right into the Westerpad. Continue on this unpaved path until you reach the parking lot for the bicycles. Then walk up the beach to the third beach house on the left. Departure from Ballum: Leave Ballum in an easterly direction, via the connecting road to Ballumerweg. Then it is the last entrance before the Nesserbos on the left. Enter this dirt path and continue straight ahead until you reach the parking lot for the bikes. Then walk up the beach to the third beach house on the left. We are only accessible by bike and on foot, not by car!
Important to know
Blokarting is an activity that depends on wind and tide. It must be low tide and the wind must be at least 11 knots. On the booking form we have indicated the times based on the tide. From 11 years old, minimum 40 kg and maximum 120 kg.
