Skutehon is a detached house on 600 m2 of private land. The beautiful view in combination with the peaceful surroundings makes it a top location for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. The yard is bordered on the east, south and west sides by a wall of trees and shrubs. On the north side the boundary is an old dike. This monumental dike had a water retaining function in the past, when there were no dikes on the south side of Ameland.

Introduction
There is "Amelander" blood flowing through my veins. Both my parents are from Hollum. Skutehon is my paradise, the house is fully equipped. A fantastic place to stay, in all seasons.
Tips from the host
From the house you can walk straight into the protected nature reserve and to the dunes. The village and the Wadden Sea - nearby, 2 bicycles are available for you. The golf course is within walking distance, around the corner. In the evening you can see the lighthouse light shining over the Jan Roepesheide from your chair.
