The apartments have south-facing windows and a garden with a terrace. The "Koalehuus" and the "Koaleskip" are both equipped for a maximum of four people. The room with dining and sitting area gives access to an open kitchen. Downstairs is a bedroom with two single beds (box spring) and a walk-in closet. The bathroom has a toilet, shower and a sink. A staircase in the living room leads to the mezzanine floor where there are also two single beds (box spring).

The apartments "Koalehuus" and "Koaleskip" are located in the heart of the village of Hollum and are built in a former coal shed and farm. The "Koalehuus" and the "Koaleskip" are within walking distance of supermarket, ice cream farmer, magazine and newspaper trade, souvenir shops, bookstore, fish stall, bicycle rental company, restaurant, mill, gallery, lifeboat museum, pub and church. The lighthouse, the North Sea beach and the Wadden Sea coast can be found at a distance of just over a kilometer. World Heritage Wadden Sea is at your feet.

Important to know
At apartment Koalehuus, bed linen is not provided, the caretaker is offering bedlinen (and towels) for rental or you may bring your own bed linen (and towels). Present are single duvets, pillows and mattress covers. In the summer high season, the accommodations are rented per week. Beyond that, it is possible to rent for a midweek and weekend. The price includes energy costs and excluding tourist tax. Staying by family, friends or acquaintances above the total number of four people is not allowed. Pets are allowed, after consultation.

Whether you come to Ameland for a weekend or long holiday, as soon as you get on the ferry you will immediately experience the holiday feeling. Enjoy cycling, walking, the beautiful nature, the historic villages, eating, drinking and of course the beautiful beach. Ameland is the ideal island for both young and old!
