Modernly furnished and recently renovated chalet in Klein Vaarwater
Our charming chalet offers space for up to 6 guests on 30 square meters. It has two bedrooms and a bathroom, perfect for families or small groups. In the spring of 2024, the chalet was lovingly restored and renovated by us and equipped with everything you need for a carefree holiday. The living room is equipped with a comfortable sofa and a TV, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. As an extra, gaming enthusiasts can enjoy our retro console "Super NES". The kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances, including a dishwasher, kettle, oven, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker and toaster. Enjoy your breakfast in the bright living-dining room. There are two bedrooms; one with a double bed (1.40 x 2.00 m) and a bunk bed for 4 people (1.60 x 2.00 m mattresses). The small bathroom has a toilet and a sink. There is no shower, but the well-maintained sanitary building of the park is only 100 meters away from the chalet. Outside you will find a sheltered terrace with lounge furniture, a dining table and a barbecue, perfect for cozy summer evenings. Parking spaces are available nearby. There is also a washing machine and free Wi-Fi. We also provide a hairdryer and a Dyson vacuum cleaner. Other cleaning products are of course also available. For the active guests, there are 6 bicycles in different sizes (4 for adults and 2 children's bicycles) available, with which you can explore the beautiful surroundings. The chalet is a non-smoking accommodation and, thanks to dust encasings, suitable for people with allergies.

Location
The Chalet Gista is located in the holiday park "Klein Vaarwater" near the village of Buren on Ameland. The park offers many facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, supermarket, restaurant, snack bar, bowling alley, fitness center and programs for children and all ages. The park itself is not overcrowded and even in high season there is a quiet atmosphere.

Special about this accommodation
Our chalet was renovated in 2024. Our kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired. There are 6 bicycles and a bicycle trailer available free of charge. There is plenty of sand and outdoor toys for small and big children. The rental price includes two season tickets for the swimming pool. And in the evening we play the "Super NES" console... ;o)

Important to know
Pillows and single duvets are provided. You must bring your own bed linen and towels. Final cleaning must be carried out by the tenant, but there is an extra late check-out at 2 p.m. For families with small children: "Fall protection" is available for the beds. There is no high chair, but there is a booster seat for the corner sofa.

Introduction
We are the Wierum family from Solingen in Germany and we are happy to share our beloved chalet on our favorite island Ameland with others. We have been visiting Ameland for decades and our three girls love the island just as much as we do. Since 2024 we have our own place with the chalet "Gista" / G45 to come even more often. Our goal is that our guests feel as much at home as we do. That is why we have equipped the chalet with everything we consider important for a nice holiday, and we like to share these things with our guests. We also want to offer an alternative to the exploding prices that even 'normal families' can still afford.
Tips from the host
The beach is only a 5-minute bike ride away and the main town of Nes is 10 minutes away. In Nes there are numerous opportunities for walking, eating, snacking and shopping. The recreation area "De Vleijen" with its lake landscape and a fantastic water playground with swimming lakes is located right next to Nes and is also ideal for a day out. Ameland, the "Wadden diamond", is a beautiful island in the Wadden Sea with endless sandy beaches. The versatile nature is shown in the dunes, the Wadden Sea, the long, clean beaches, the forests, the salt marshes and the vast meadows. The island offers a wide range of possibilities for a relaxing or active holiday. Many museums, which are also fun for children, show the culture and nature of the island in ancient and contemporary times. And of course a visit to the lighthouse should not be missed. But in every season, even in high season, there are always places of "solitude" to be found, where one can escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
